Decorating for “Through the Decades 1950s”
Our Recreation and Well-Being team here at St Winifreds Care Home did a fantastic job decorating the dining area last week for our ‘Through the Decades’ day on Friday 11 March. They dressed up and dressed the room in true rock ‘n’ roll, American diner style!
1950s day
We enjoyed some wonderful music and entertainment from the Swingtime Sweethearts – one of our favourite singing duos. We also enjoyed some yummy snacks and a cup of tea as we danced and swayed with the music!
Elvis was in the building!
Along with all our lovely things for the special 1950s day, we had a visit from none-other than Elvis! Everyone loved having their picture taken with the cardboard cutout.
