On Friday 23 August we said goodbye to our Kitchen Assistant Kenna who has been at St Winifreds Care Home for 12 wonderful years.
Kenna came in as a Teatime Assistant and then added more shifts by becoming a Daytime Assistant too.
Several people came in on her last day, including colleagues she had worked with who have now retired – she was surprised with a cake, gifts and lots of goodbye hugs. There were quite a few tears as Kenna will be missed after such a long time with us.
Our residents held a recent arts and crafts session where they created some lovely colourful creations to put on display for Kenna’s leaving day. Kenna loved seeing them up and we know many of our residents will really miss seeing her.
