We had a lovely morning visit from the children and staff of Bright Sparks Nursery School on Thursday 22 October at St Winifreds Care Home.
The children signed Vera Lynn’s famous song “We’ll Meet Again” while our residents watched from the windows and sang along, which was so special to see.
The children also brought our residents some wonderful carved pumpkins, and in return we gave them gifts of bubbles, colouring books, pencils and lollies.
Our residents loved seeing the children who came up to the window to see everyone and show their pumpkins through the windrow to Hazel our Manager and Milana our Deputy Manager.
It’s so important to us to be close with our local community and share experiences across generations. Thank you to Bright Sparks for making our day!
