Movie afternoon
On Thursday 13 March we celebrated ‘Popcorn Lover’s Day’ at St Winifreds Care Home with the film The Wizard of Oz and a selection of sweet, salty and mixed popcorn.
Our residents, families and team members alike enjoyed a portion, served in traditional popcorn boxes.
Everyone agreed they love a bit of popcorn while enjoying a great movie. What a delicious afternoon!
African arts and crafts
We’ve also started some themed arts and crafts in preparation for our Nellsar mini cruise to South Africa this month.
Our residents coloured in pictures and glued crepe and patterned paper on to them. We loved the effects, making our creations bright and cheerful. We can’t wait to see everything put together when we head off on our virtual travels!
