The festive spirit was in full swing at St Winifreds Care Home as residents, families and team members joined together to celebrate our Christmas Jumper and T-Shirt Day on Thursday 11 December – hooray! Everyone came dressed in their most colourful and creative Christmas outfits, ready for a day filled with laughter, photos and a few ‘Grinchy’ moments too!
Ben from our Catering Team was first in line, cooking alongside Chef Pippa, who proudly wore her pink Christmas t-shirt. Our brilliant Housekeeping Team – Anish, Julian and Kelly – all joined in the fun, wearing Santa t-shirts and sparkly jumpers as they helped keep our Home looking bright and festive for Santa’s arrival.
Residents joined the fun too – Phyllis waited eagerly for the festivities to begin, with John, George and Joan joining in by the Christmas tree. Even our self-confessed ‘Grinches’ couldn’t resist smiling – Dougie and John tried to hide their grins, Walter’s eyes were full of mischief, and Brian waited happily for his turn in the festive photos!
It was a truly joyful day of laughter and Christmas cheer, bringing everyone closer as we shared in the fun of the season.
From all of us at St Winifreds – Happy Christ-Grinchness!
