Baking Club
What a great Friday afternoon we had at our St Winifreds Care Home Baking Club, when our Chef James showed us how to do his amazing and much-loved peanut butter cookies. Such a treat!
We mixed the cookie dough and rolled them into balls. It was particularly great to see our gents showing off their culinary skills.
Of course, when the cookies were baked, we got to have them at teatime and they were delicious. Our lovely couple Ruby and Terry enjoyed a glass of wine together – what a welcome way to spend the afternoon!
Sunshine and games
We had so much fun in our garden on Monday 14 July, playing lots of games including bean bag target challenges in the sunshine – with plenty of suncream on and some refreshing cold drinks afterwards to keep everyone cool.
