Easter preparations
Here at St Winifreds Care Home in Deal, we’re getting excited as Easter approaches. Our residents have already begun creating colourful arts and crafts, decorating bunny cut-outs that will be displayed around our Home for everyone to enjoy spotting!
We’re also looking forward to our Easter party, making Easter bonnets and, of course, enjoying some delicious chocolate eggs and hot cross buns. It’s a wonderful time of year filled with colour and joy. We can’t wait to celebrate!
Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is always such a meaningful occasion. Here at St Winifreds, we came together to celebrate all the wonderful mothers among us and to honour the special role mothers play in all our lives. After all, we’ve all had a mother, and many of us have cared for others just like one!
We decorated our Home with beautiful fans and banners and welcomed family members to join us. Our residents enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea featuring prawn sandwiches, crackers with cheese and pâté, followed by homemade scones served with jam and cream. We also shared chocolates, adding that extra sweet touch!
