Boxing Day at St Winifreds Care Home was all about rest and relaxation. Our residents enjoyed a cosy pyjama day, settling in to watch classic Christmas films while sipping indulgent hot chocolates topped with cream and marshmallows – the perfect way to unwind after the big day.
New Year’s Eve brought the celebrations back in style with our New Year’s ‘party bus’ trolley, which travelled around our Home spreading cheer to every community. Everyone enjoyed festive music, seasonal treats such as crisps and chocolate, and a celebratory drink of their choice, including sherry, wine, beer or a refreshing soft drink.
We rounded off the evening by singing Auld Lang Syne together, marking the end of the festive season and welcoming the year ahead.
