Flower arrangements
On a recent trip to our local Co-op store, our St Winifreds Care Home team members noticed that they had flowers by the till marked as ‘free’, and the staff kindly offered them to us for our Home.
Our residents wasted no time in creating some truly beautiful displays which we placed around St Winifreds for everyone to enjoy. Well done everyone and thanks again to the Co-op.
Finger licking good!
On Friday we celebrated National Doughnut Day, with five different varieties of delicious doughnuts to choose from – plain, jam, custard, chocolate and toffee flavoured.
Our residents enjoyed tasting the flavours they liked the best, but most of all the joy of licking the sugar and filling from their fingers, some even said it was the best part!
This was such a popular activity that our ladies and gents asked what our next taster would be. We’ll have to arrange another one soon!
