Talented performer Trevor the Travelling Troubadour came in to entertain our residents at St Winifreds Care Home on Friday 1 November and he sang songs for our ladies and gents across our three communities.
He spent time in our St Georges community, with residents playing musical instruments to accompany him. They listened to the Beatles, Elvis and more! Our lovely Ubaid danced with our residents and Sheeja shook the sleigh bells with Chris.
In St Davids, Trevor went into our residents’ rooms and serenading them with his backing group (provided by our colleagues Viv, Ronnie, Tracy and Jobi!). They sang songs to make everyone smile, laugh and sing, whilst playing the musical instruments.
In St Andrews, Trevor also had a blast with everyone enjoying him singing ‘golden oldie’ classics and making requests too. Even our Nurses got up and danced! Nisha and Pat danced the afternoon away, while Maria shook her sleigh bells and Brian choose to sit and dance from his chair.
Trevor said he really enjoyed the day (especially with his backing group!) and loved the musical accompaniments from everyone.
We all had so much fun – please come back and see us soon Trevor!
