Games morning
It’s been a while since we had our games out at St Winifreds Care Home, so we shared them around for the morning last week.
We enjoyed bean bag target games, with a hoop to aim at on the floor, plus a table hoopla – with hilarious results and it certainly woke us all up! What a great morning!
Glass painting and bingo
On Friday 16 September we organised some glass painting with our ladies and gents.
We had special paints to use and our residents had the choice between a tea lighter holder, glass or small bottle to decorate.
Once painted, they will add some ribbons and gems if they want to. They will then be packaged up in nice boxes and be given to relatives at Christmas. We all really enjoyed this activity.
Afterwards, our ladies and gents enjoyed a fun game of bingo – with great prizes!
Royal word game
As part of the fun we also played some word games together. We used royal names and found words within them – it was great using our brains and we were very pleased with the results.
