Creative art
Last week, our St Winifreds Care Home residents got busy preparing for our upcoming Hawaiian-themed BBQ with a vibrant art session. It was a wonderful way to spend time together colouring, sticking, and painting tropical-inspired creations.
The bright colours of our chosen Hawaiian theme gave us plenty of inspiration, and of course, no afternoon would be complete without a lovely cup of tea to keep us refreshed!
Dover outing
On Friday, we enjoyed a fantastic morning out in our minibus, heading to the Duke of York restaurant in Dover. During the journey, we took in the lovely countryside views and even spotted Deal Castle through the windows.
When we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly, and we were treated to cups of tea and coffee, served alongside fresh pastries on the house. Absolutely delicious!
On the way back, we stopped by the pier to take in the seaside views, which inspired a cheerful group rendition of ‘Oh, I Do Like to Be Beside the Seaside’. It was the perfect ending to a brilliant morning of friendship and fun.
