On Tuesday 27 September we held a special Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support here at St Winifreds Care Home.
From start to finish, our ladies and gents were involved in preparing delicious treats for the event – from mixing to decorating cakes, our residents at our Baking Club ‘Winifreds Pantry’ did us proud with all their efforts!
We sent out invites to our residents’ families and friends to come and join us. On the day we served a tempting variety of cakes made by our residents, staff, families and friends including chocolate cupcakes, coffee and walnut cake and Swiss roll slices (to name a few!) in return for a small donation.
Huge thanks to everyone who baked for our Coffee Morning and came to support this important charity.
