Over the past 12 months, we have shared so many wonderful moments here at our Deal Care Home, and every one of them has become a treasured memory. Together, we’ve celebrated new team members joining our Home, welcomed new residents into our community, marked birthdays and wedding anniversaries, enjoyed Easter festivities and created countless other special occasions that have brought us together.
One of our most recent celebrations was our VIP Barbecue, held to mark a very proud achievement. Over the past 18 months, we have been working towards accreditation with The Gold Standards Framework (GSF), and we were delighted to learn that we had successfully met all 77 of the 77 required standards. It was a wonderful milestone for everyone involved and one that we were incredibly proud to celebrate.
When planning our celebrations, we always involve our residents, families and team members. Whether they choose a party, barbecue, afternoon of live music, traditional afternoon tea or simply time spent together, every celebration is shaped around what brings the most enjoyment and creates lasting memories.
