Our Care Home in Deal was bursting with colour on Thursday 23 July as we celebrated our annual Mardi Gras themed barbecue. We transformed our garden with vibrant backdrops, colourful bunting and festive hanging decorations, creating the perfect setting for a wonderful afternoon together.
Our talented Chefs, Sue and James, prepared a delicious barbecue, which everyone enjoyed alongside refreshing soft drinks, a glass of Pimm’s or a cold beer.
Adding to the fantastic atmosphere, the brilliant Great Mates entertained us with two lively sets of music before and after lunch. It wasn’t long before residents, families, friends and team members were singing along and dancing together.
Everyone embraced the Mardi Gras theme by dressing in bright colours and accessorising with colourful beads and masks, making the celebrations so memorable. It was a fantastic day filled with music, delicious food and wonderful company.
Our residents, loved ones and team all agreed it was tremendous fun, and it’s still one of the main talking points around our Home. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
