On Saturday 13 September, our residents at St Winifreds Care Home enjoyed a cosy movie morning – the perfect way to spend a rainy, windy day. With warm blankets and cups of popcorn, we settled down to watch ‘The Bells of St Mary’s’. Everyone agreed it was a fabulous old-fashioned film. Sometimes there really is nothing better than snuggling up with a good movie and tasty treat.
Looking ahead to this Friday, we’re preparing to celebrate ‘International Talk Like a Pirate Day‘! We love any excuse for crafting, so our residents got busy making colourful parrots to accompany their pirate costumes. Everyone loved choosing bold colours to use and gluing on bright feathers. Fabulous!
