Garden party
To kick off our Platinum Jubilee celebrations at St Winifreds Care Home, we had a garden party on Thursday 2 June.
We invited our families to come and join us and were thrilled to welcome the ‘Swing time sweethearts‘ who delighted us all with their wonderful music.
As part of the day, we were also treated to songs from our choir – The St Winifreds Songbirds.
Our Home was decked out with red, white and blue decorations and we planted some lovely flowers too.
Our Chef and Kitchen Team prepared a delicious buffet for everyone to enjoy and we had fun taking lots of photos!
Tea party
To end our long weekend celebrations, we served a lovely afternoon tea which our ladies and gents enjoyed as they watched the Jubilee pageant on television.
