Music for Health
On Tuesday 23 May we invited Stella from ‘Music for Health’ into St Winifreds Care Home for one of her lively sessions with our residents.
Everyone had a great time shaking tambourines, bells, maracas and conducting an orchestra with batons. We sang along to songs and even had a quiz at the end – getting three out of four questions correct!
We always look forward to visits from Stella as she makes the whole session so fun.
Java Jive
On Wednesday 24 May we had entertainment from Java Jive – a musical duo we are very fond of.
Our residents who are familiar with them were surprised to see them in different clothing as they arrived dressed for summer. The pair always interact with our residents and were delighted to see a few new faces as residents sang along and clapped throughout.
One lady who had not seen them before kept shouting out ‘More, more!’ as she was thoroughly enjoying the whole show.
