On Tuesday 30 June, we were delighted to welcome relatives to our Care Home in Deal for one of our regular relatives’ meetings. It was a lovely opportunity to share updates about life in our Home, talk about upcoming events and plans, and enjoy tea, coffee and delicious cupcakes together.
After the meeting, relatives stayed to spend time with their loved ones and enjoy a fantastic live performance from our wonderful friends, Country Blues duo John and Ellie. With favourites from Elvis, Cliff Richard and many more, it wasn’t long before everyone was singing along.
Our residents also joined in by playing musical instruments, waving colourful ribbons and dancing from their chairs.
It was a fantastic afternoon enjoyed by residents, families and our team alike.
