For Remembrance weekend we went all out to decorate St Winifreds Care Home with creative tributes to honour those we’ve lost in wartime.
We had poppy wreaths, Union Jack bunting, cut-outs of war planes and soldiers, as well as a beautiful ‘Lest We Forget‘ flag. We also remembered the animals lost in war with a purple poppy display. It was so touching to see all the displays up around our lounge.
We also enjoyed a sing along to some old classic tunes, including ‘The White Cliffs of Dover‘.
