Seaside trip
Making the most of the beautiful weather, our residents enjoyed a lovely trip in our minibus to the nearby seaside town of Deal. We feel incredibly fortunate to have such a beautiful coastline right on our doorstep.
Our first stop was the popular Beach Parlour, where everyone treated themselves to their favourite ice cream, milkshake or hot drink while taking in the wonderful sea views.
Afterwards, we enjoyed a gentle stroll along Deal Pier, taking time to reminisce, chat and appreciate the fresh sea air. It was a relaxing morning and a lovely change of scenery that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
Music with Robert
Friday morning brought another treat as we welcomed our new musical friend, Robert Baltimore, for his first performance at St Winifreds.
Robert entertained us with a wonderful selection of timeless classics, including favourites made famous by Frank Sinatra and Matt Monro. Everyone relaxed, sang along and thoroughly enjoyed the performance, giving Robert a very warm welcome.
His debut visit was such a success that we’ve already invited him back, and we’re looking forward to enjoying another relaxing Friday morning of music together very soon.
