Singalong
What a great afternoon we had on Wednesday 1 February, when we stretched our voices with a good old-fashioned singalong here at St Winifreds Care Home.
We got out our musical instruments and our residents took it in turns to try all the different ones on offer. Everyone enjoyed a lively time singing along to Elvis, Cliff Richard and Buddy Holly, as well as some old favourites including the classic ‘My Old Man’s a Dustman‘!
Games
During the day we also enjoyed some games together. Working alongside one another to communicate and help each other, we rolled the ball to each other saying the name of the person.
We also rolled a big dice to see who could get a six or the biggest number.
We all enjoyed this activity and it was great exercise for our arms and hands.
