On Sunday 24 November we had our first of many Guinea pig visits here at St Winifreds Care Home.
Everyone was very excited for this and our residents, team members and visiting families were thrilled to meet the six beautiful Guinea pigs, including ‘Betty‘ and ‘Kath‘ – what great Guinea pig names!
Our ladies and gents enjoyed stroking them and asking questions, some reliving memories of their own Guinea pig pets or simply just watching them eat.
We all agreed it was an amazing way to spend the afternoon and we look forward to another visit next year.
