On Thursday 20 November, we proudly took part in the Cake4Kindness campaign here at St Winifreds Care Home. Our residents and team members joined forces to bake a wonderful selection of homemade cakes, all lovingly prepared to donate to a local charity.
Cake4Kindness is a heartwarming initiative that encourages people to share kindness and connection through baking. It inspires communities to make and gift cakes as a simple yet powerful way to brighten someone’s day and spread compassion.
Our delicious creations were gratefully accepted by United Families UK, a local charity that supports families in need through their community pantry. We were thrilled to contribute to such a meaningful cause and hope our tasty cakes brought smiles to many faces.
A huge thank you goes to Tracy, Nisha, Sheeja, Ant and our new Chef Sue for their efforts and enthusiasm in spreading the spirit of kindness!
