Our residents at St Winifreds Care Home had a great afternoon celebrating St Patrick’s Day on Tuesday 17 March with lots of fun and games.
Our first game involved throwing a dice and matching a number to a colour on a rainbow; the first person to complete their rainbow was the winner.
We then played ‘Pin the hat on the Leprechaun‘. As our residents were blindfolded, you can imagine the areas the hat was placed on!
We then played ‘Fill the pot with gold‘ which involved some good aiming skills to throw gold coins into a leprechaun’s bucket.
Our ladies and gents loved all the fun and it was great to see lots of smiles and laughter. The games were followed by coffee and cake which also went down a treat!

- Winner of ‘Pin the hat on the Leprechaun’ and ‘Fill the pot with gold’ was Barbara L.
