A very important date…
On Sunday 18 January, our residents at St Winifreds Care Home enjoyed a wonderfully whimsical Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, with themed decorations, cups of tea and delicious cupcakes bringing the magic of Alice in Wonderland to life.
Our residents took part in decorating Mad Hatter top hat pictures, with Jean winning a prize of a deck of cards – which she is very much looking forward to playing with. We also enjoyed a game of ‘Higher or Lower’, also known as Play Your Cards Right, which was great fun, even if nobody went home with a speedboat!

A musical treat with Trevor
We were also delighted to welcome back the talented guitarist Trevor for another fantastic visit. Trevor performed a selection of much-loved songs spanning the 1950s, 60s and 70s, which we love!
He kindly visited all our floors and took time to play for our residents in their rooms, ensuring that everyone could enjoy the music, no matter where they were. We always look forward to Trevor’s visits and can’t wait to welcome him back again soon.
