Here at St Winifreds Care Home we enjoyed a fabulous Coffee Morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support last week. The day was filled with community spirit, plenty of tea and coffee, and of course, an abundance of delicious cakes!
Our residents and visitors had fun taking part in games such as ‘Guess the Weight of the Cake‘ and ‘Find the Coffee Bean‘, which added lots of excitement to the morning! This charity is especially meaningful to our colleague Chelsea, who organised the whole event with colleague Siobhan brilliantly – everyone agreed they did an amazing job.
Special thanks too to our lovely ladies who visited Winifreds Pantry to bake shortbread and chocolate fudge for the fundraiser – your treats were a big hit!
Thanks to the wonderful support from everyone involved, we raised over £100 for such an important charity.
