In honour of Royal Ascot Week, our residents enjoyed a delightful cream tea party filled with fun and a touch of racing glamour, here at our Care Home in Deal. Our ladies looked fantastic in their homemade headwear, which added a splash of colour and elegance to the occasion. Everyone embraced the spirit of the event and certainly looked the part!
The excitement continued with an electronic horse racing game, where we loved cheering on our chosen colours and horses. We also enjoyed learning some fascinating Ascot facts along the way – did you know that before lawn mowers were invented, around 400 sheep were used to keep the racecourse grounds neatly trimmed!
