On Friday 16 August at St Winifreds Care Home we had a wonderful double treat during our morning.
We welcomed a favourite of ours, musician Barry Goss, who performed some fantastic 60s music for us all.
We were also paid a visit from our local ice-cream van, which is always a welcome sight! Residents, relatives and team members were treated to some lovely ice creams during a specially requested visit from Luke’s van.
Classic 60s tunes with a lovely 99 ice-cream – what more could one ask for?!

Welcoming Luke’s ice cream van

What a happy mum and daughter memory.

A lovely picture of our 103 years young Mavis. Luke the ice cream man said he’d never served a lady of such mature years…extra sprinkles for Mavis then!

Ice creams for two please!

One happy customer!
