Last week we celebrated Chinese New Year here at St Winifreds Care Home and what a great day we had, with themed decorations and delicious food.
We enjoyed decorating our lounge and dining room with Chinese dragons, lanterns and some decorations made by our own fair hands. As it’s the Chinese Year of The Snake, we enjoyed playing with some articulated toy snakes that we all agreed reminded us of our childhoods!
To complete the day’s celebrations, our ladies and gents tucked into a lovely sweet and sour dish for dinner, with rice and prawn crackers.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we look forward to more themed days ahead!
