This week at St Winifreds Care Home we met Bess and her owner Sheila for the first time. Bess is a beautiful 20-month-old cocker spaniel. She and Sheila are new volunteers with Therapy Dogs UK and we were lucky enough to be their first visit!
Bess enjoyed meeting some of our residents, as well as having a good sniff around our Home! Due to being a new pup with us, we will be introducing her to small groups of our ladies and gents over the weeks to start with.
We feel blessed to have met Bess and look forward to spending time with her, as well as helping her journey as a Therapy Dog.
Isn’t she a beauty – we adore her already!
