Baking and singing!
What a great afternoon we had this week at St Winifreds Care Home, combining two of our favourites Clubs – Winifreds Baking Club and St Winifreds song birds choir.
We loved getting stuck into making ‘cake pops‘ – firstly crumbling cake before mixing in buttercream and lastly adding sticks and dipping in chocolate. How yummy they looked. While enjoying our baking, we sang along to our favourite songs from our choir, together with tea, biscuits and many laughs.
What a fantastic way to spend a Friday afternoon and afterwards we got to enjoy our creations too – heaven!
African headdresses
We’ve been busy on our Nellsar mini cruise to South Africa this week. To accompany the colourful Africa pictures we made at the start of the week we enjoyed crafting African headdresses with colourful headbands, jewels and feathers – what fabulous creations and a wonderful addition to any African outfit, ready to wear and looking amazing. We do love to get the glue out and see what we can create. Well done everyone!
