Baking time…
In one of our favourite clubs at St Winifreds Care Home last week we tried our hand at making peanut butter cookies.
From mixing the dough to shaping the cookies, our residents enjoyed the smell of the ingredients and the different textures. They came out beautifully once baked and we enjoyed them with a cup of tea – a delicious homemade treat!
We’re already looking forward to what we can create next time. Well done to our budding bakers.
Music with John and Ellie
We also enjoyed another visit from ‘Country Blues’ duo John and Ellie recently, which we always enjoy. The couple have been entertaining us for many years now and we absolutely love them.
They never fail to entertain and our residents love to either relax and enjoy their music, sing and dance from their chairs, or get up to ‘shake their stuff’! We always have a great time. On this occasion we also enjoyed ice lollies after getting warm from all that dancing!
