Our residents from St Winifreds Care Home enjoyed a wonderful morning out on Friday 5 September with a scenic drive through the beautiful Elham Valley, leading to a visit to The Fifth Trust. We were warmly welcomed with hot drinks and freshly baked scones – still warm from the oven – topped with jam and cream. Delicious!
The café offered stunning views of the countryside, and we admired the grapes growing nearby, adding to the charm of the visit. The Fifth Trust is a fantastic charity supported by adults with learning difficulties, who also create the delicious treats we enjoyed.
It truly was a delightful trip, filled with great company and beautiful surroundings – everyone had a brilliant time and can’t wait for our next outing.
