Putting fun
With several of our residents enjoying golf, we were delighted when our Activities Team member, John, offered to bring in his own putting green for everyone to enjoy here at our Care Home in Deal. Making the most of the beautiful sunny weather, our residents spent time outdoors practising their putting skills while relaxing with a cup of tea and cheering each other on.
We may not have been the next Tiger Woods, but everyone gave it their best shot, and there was plenty of friendly encouragement along the way. A huge thank you to John for sharing his putting green with us and creating such an enjoyable afternoon. We look forward to another round very soon!
Birthday celebrations
It’s also been a month of celebrations at our Home, with Joan, Joseph and John (all the Js!) marking their birthdays surrounded by family, friends and our team.
Each received a thoughtful gift and enjoyed a delicious homemade cake lovingly prepared by our Chefs, Sue and James. It was wonderful to see everyone celebrating their special days, as they made happy memories with their loved ones.
