National Tea Day
We couldn’t let National Tea Day pass without hosting a proper tea party here at our Care Home in Deal! Our residents and their loved ones enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea featuring scones with jam and cream, alongside tempting cupcakes.
As we tucked in, we shared fun facts about tea and tea parties, sparking lovely conversations around the table. Everyone agreed it was one of the best days of the year – after all, a cup of tea always tastes better with a slice of cake!
Knit and Natter
Our Knitting Club is always a cosy and cheerful gathering. Here at St Winifreds, we love to knit and natter while enjoying a lovely cup of tea.
Recently, our talented residents have been creating soft, colourful baby blankets to donate to our local hospital – a truly heart-warming project. As we knit, we often reminisce and share stories, making it a time of both creativity and connection.
With wool in hand and tea close by, what more could we ask for?!
