St. Georges Day
The team here at St Winifreds Care Home helped our residents make decorations and cards for St. George’s Day last week, and we celebrated on 23 April with a traditional English roast dinner, followed by apple crumble, cream or ice cream. All of which went down very well!

And thanks to our two new Recreation and Well-Being ladies Storm and Charis, residents have enjoyed many activities from dominoes to knitting, and pom-pom making to painting! Some of our ladies and gents had their hair and nails done too.
Happy birthday Hazel
It was our Home Manager Hazel Terry’s birthday on the Thursday 23 April too. Happy birthday Hazel! All the staff here at St Winifreds are so grateful for her support – she’s been doing such an excellent job keeping the residents safe and happy, whilst also looking out for her staff.
