We all enjoyed a wonderful Valentines Day here at St Winifreds Care Home, with romantic decorations and heart balloons.
Elsie wrote these special words, which describe how our residents celebrated the day;
“Loved ones still here and some sadly gone, but always in our hearts and truly loved. Valentines Day was celebrated by everyone, enjoying a sing-a-long with Geoff.
All had a red rose as well as Valentines cake, with tea or coffee served in china cups.
We took time out to remember our loved ones and to reminisce about courtship and marriage.”
