As well as celebrating VE Day on Thursday 8 May, it was also our resident John’s birthday here at St Winifreds Care Home.
John was so happy and a little emotional when his peers and our colleagues sang along with entertainer Trevor in a rendition of ‘Happy birthday‘, as he received a gift from all his friends at our Home.
We also sang to John at our tea party when he was blowing out the candles on his homemade Gluten free birthday cake. He thoroughly enjoyed the party with our residents and his daughter Kim, commenting that he’d had a wonderful day and got a real kick out of our team members dressing up.
