On Wednesday 2 December our residents and staff celebrated Romanian Day here at St Winifreds Care Home.
Our Deputy Manager Milana Braide is from Romania, so we all really loved celebrating with her
Our residents made Romanian flags and in the afternoon Julie and Milana dressed up in Romanian outfits.
Our ladies and gents enjoyed Romanian food for lunch, especially the amazing desserts! In the afternoon they also enjoyed Romanian wine, rum, drinks and selection of snacks, whilst we shared some historic facts about Romania and danced to traditional music.
A memorable day was has by us all.
