On Thursday 26 November some of our lovely ladies at St Winifreds Care Home took part in a Christmas wreath making workshop.
They all had a lovely time getting artistic and making their own designs, using poinsettias, berries and silver and gold Christmas decorations. Their beautiful works of art will hang outside our Home for the festive season. Great work ladies!
On Friday, our residents enjoyed a music group, where Vera Lynn was a real favourite to sing. After the group finished our ladies enjoyed some music in the lounge and continued the dancing!
At the weekend, our ladies enjoyed decorating some carrot cakes, kindly made by our kitchen staff. They got their creative hats on and after all the hard work was done they enjoyed their cakes with a cup of tea, finished off with a few games of bingo. Perfect!
