What a great afternoon we had on Monday 29 August, with a new entertainment duo ‘Java Jive’ here at St Winifreds Care Home.
It was an absolute treat listening to Java Jive perform; we all enjoyed the different sorts of music and great guitar and violin playing. Such a fantastic atmosphere!
Games and Dementia dolls
On Monday 29 August we played some fun games of oversized cards and dominoes, which our residents really enjoyed.
We also introduced our new Dementia dolls who proved very popular.
Our residents named the girl ‘Vera‘ after Vera Lynn and the boy ‘William‘ after Prince William – the perfect choices!
What a fun day and it was lovely to see our ladies enjoying comforting cuddles with our two new arrivals.
