A trip down memory lane
On Wednesday 12 October we held a reminiscence quiz with our residents at St Winifreds Care Home.
We printed out a ‘Who am I?’ picture quiz, featuring lots of famous celebrities, singers and Hollywood stars of the past who you had to name, including Dolly Parton and Doris Day – a real test of memory!
Afterwards, we played some of the songs that these famous singers had performed and all enjoyed singing along with them; we even had a dance around the lounge.
Our ‘Retro’ magazines were also popular and we took time to look through them and talk about the different celebrities featured inside.
Arts and crafts session
We’ve also been busy colouring posters for our upcoming Halloween celebrations and also for our ‘Breast Cancer Awareness Day’ on Friday 21 October.
A fun time was had by all!
