Diamond art
Today at St Winifreds Care Home we gave diamond art a go, which involves adding little ‘diamonds’ onto a picture to bring it to life with some sparkle.
What fun we had – with such concentration from our ladies!
Our eye-catching dolphin picture will be going on display when it’s finished and we can’t wait to do some more!
Seasonal picture
We have also started some arts and crafts for a new feature wall now that Valentine’s Day is over. We have decided to start a spring and summer picture, to welcome in the new seasons.
Our residents enjoyed colouring pictures and also creating their own pictures using glue and glitter. We have some real talent here at our Home.
Jigsaw puzzle
We purchased a puzzle portfolio this week, which we’ve already put to good use.
Gladys got her big puzzle out that she was gifted for Christmas and everyone enjoyed helping out.
When we had had enough, we simply folded up the puzzle into the portfolio and it’ll be ready and waiting for us when we decide to return to it.
