On Valentine’s Day here at St Winifreds Care Home, we enjoyed decorating our lounge with heart decorations and red roses.
We were delighted to have musical entertainment from one of our favourite performers, Geoff, who sang us love songs – we all loved joining in singing and dancing! This was followed by tea and biscuits and everyone had a lovely time socialising.
We also gave each of our residents a Valentine rose and ‘sweets for my sweet‘ which everybody loved!
Everybody also had the chance to decorate heart-shaped homemade biscuits to have with their tea.
It was lovely to make all our residents feel extra special on this celebratory day.
