Our ladies enjoyed wishing Captain Tom Moore a very happy 100th birthday on Thursday 30 April, with a special ‘Happy Birthday Captain Tom‘ sign.
Captain Tom is the wonderful WW2 veteran who challenged himself to walk 100 lengths of his garden before his 100th birthday, with the aim of raising £1,000 for NHS Charities Together.
Not only did Tom successfully achieved his 100 lengths, but he smashed his target and has now raised well over £32 million for charity!
He was promoted to Honorary Colonel on his birthday, in recognition of his amazing attitude and incredible achievement.
He’s done such an amazing job raising so much money for the NHS and really captured our hearts; we were proud to honour him on his birthday.
