Friday 8 April was our Through the Decades 1960s Day at St Winifreds Care Home!
We decorated our dining area with colourful homemade decorations of love and peace and welcomed musician Barry Goss to bring some 60s spirit into our Home for our residents to enjoy.
We all loved having a dance and sing along and afterwards took a road trip in our camper van!
We offered a tipple of brandy or a shandy, or tea and biscuits for our residents to enjoy and a lovely time was had by all.
Last week we also had fun with some games of bingo, with our winners shouting ‘Bingo!’ as loudly as they could! We had a table of great prizes to choose from, and served cups of tea and chocolate all round!
Our 1960s decorations were great fun!
