Here at St Winifreds Care Home we’ve enjoyed painting Halloween decorations to go with the ones we had already put up. We painted pumpkins and hanging signs, which looked great on display for Halloween.
On Halloween morning, our Recreation and Well-Being Teams went around our Home ‘treat or treating’ (no tricking!) to each one of our residents, which they really enjoyed.
There was lots of laughter as our team members were dressed up – Tina as a witches cat, Janet as a witch and Chelsea as a bat. Many of our residents enjoyed talking about Halloween and the things they enjoyed doing as children. They all received some delicious chocolate.
John and Ellie joined us during our Halloween afternoon, for a good old singalong. Our ladies and gents enjoyed joining in with all the 60s songs in particular. What a super time we had!
