Mother’s Day
What a fabulous and fun day we had on Mother’s Day here at St Winifreds Care Home on Sunday 10 March.
We decorated our dining room with bunting and fresh flowers and plenty of sons and daughters came to visit their mums to celebrate the day. Some stayed for a lovely roast lunch, while others joined us for an afternoon tea, with cupcakes and scones made with love by our fantastic Chef James.
Everyone was so happy to be able to spend the day with loved ones, and our gents didn’t miss out as they joined in with our tea party!
Birthday wishes
Our lovely residents Mags and Roland both enjoyed their birthdays with us. They received cards, cake and presents and had a wonderful time. Mags celebrated hers on Mother’s Day so it was a wonderful double celebration for her.
