Geoff Dean sings at St Winifreds Care Home

Musical fun

On Wednesday 17 May, singer Geoff Dean came in to entertain our residents at St Winifreds Care Home.

In the last couple of months he has started to change the style of music he sings, to bring it up-to-date with more songs from the late 60 and early 70s. Our residents are really enjoying his new songs and have loved joining in with singalongs.

We look forward to his next visit to see what other new songs he will be performing for us.

Helping hands

On Wednesday 24 May we held a ‘Helping hands’ afternoon when our ladies and gents were having lots of fun with our odd sock box!

Many pairs were matched up and our residents said they really enjoyed the activity.

Tea with Roland

Our lovely resident Roland approached staff and said that he was very thankful for all the help they give to him, and he wanted to thank them by making them a cup of tea.

So, with three other ladies, they got together in the dining room and had tea, coffee and biscuits whilst having a lovely chat with members of our team.

What a lovely gesture!
